Open family café
Everyone is welcome here!
Get to know other families in an uncomplicated way, exchange ideas, spend everyday life together and support each other – without any “problem” or obligation.
The open family café provides you with an inviting atmosphere: It is a “public living room” in your local area with a communal kitchen, toilets with changing facilities, relaxation rooms, a playroom and a garden. The advice provided by our local contact persons and the wide range of meetings and courses on birth, parental leave, family and re-entry into working life round off the services on offer.
We facilitate access to daycare for families with migration experience by informing them about the various options and advising, accompanying and supporting them in their search for a childcare place.

We offer at reasonable prices well-preserved children’s and adult clothing, shoes, baby accessories and toys. Larger items such as strollers can be advertised on our bulletin board. At regular intervals we organize flea markets in the garden of the family center. The contact person for the second-hand store in the family center is Sandra Kirmse.
The clothing exchange can be used during the opening hours of the family center.
